Visual Poetry

Even more than prose, poetry relies on silent literary devices to deliver its message. For a reader to appreciate a poem, an active analysis is required. To aid in this analysis, five poems ranging from theme, style and period are graphed, using various poetic devices as variables. Each poem produces a unique, colourful form that is easy to analyze and also illustrates the beauty of what lies just out of the reader’s sight.

Series of A2 posters analyzing five poems from different poets. This series was a part of my MA thesis on Literary Maps.
